Tonneau cover on Windjammer SS fairing. Ken wrote.. The tonneau cover functioned well and the snaps worked and lined up properly. One observation I had, for better or worse, was that the material the new cover is made out of is more pliable and not as stiff as the original. I'm not sure if that is because it is a more supple material, or if the old ones hardened with age. The newer, more supple material feels like it will be less prone to cracking. I like the fabric that you chose for the inside pocket. The originals had some sort of coating on them that seemed to flake off over the years getting on everything. Your fabric looks like it will last better and not flake. My guess is that the coating on the old ones was some sort of water proofing. One thing that you may want to consider is making the pocket a little bigger. Thanks Ken for the picture and your comments.
